NAB is a Nero compilation file for an audiobook CD. It stores the information Nero uses to organise the audiobook compilation for disc creation.

The format is associated with Nero Multimedia Suite on Microsoft Windows and is not a broadly supported audio format. It is intended for use with the Nero software that created the compilation.

Open the NAB file in Nero Multimedia Suite on Microsoft Windows. Other programs may not recognise this Nero-specific format.

NAB files are compilation files rather than standard audio files, so they cannot normally be converted directly with general-purpose media converters. Open the file in Nero and use the compilation to create an audiobook CD.

After creating the disc, its audio can be extracted to a standard audio format with suitable CD-ripping software.
