The PH file extension is associated with Microsoft Windows Help. Windows Help (WinHlp32.exe) is a Help program that has been included with Microsoft Windows versions starting with the Microsoft Windows 3.1 operating system.

The Zoom MRS-802 is a compact, fully digital eight-track recording studio with guitar, bass, vocal and mixdown effects. It also includes a programmable drum and bass machine with touch-sensitive pads and is designed for portable recording. The recorder supports AC/DC operation, has a built-in microphone, and records to SD media cards up to 1 GB.
An PH file stores recorded phrase audio used by the MRS-802. The recorder uses these files together with other data in a recording project to manage tracks, edits and arrangements.
The PH format is proprietary to the MRS-802 hardware and is not a general-purpose audio format for Windows or macOS. It is mainly encountered in recordings made and stored with this older Zoom recorder.
Open a PH file with the Zoom MRS-802 that created it. Place the file on the recorder's storage with the associated recording project, then use the recorder's project or phrase functions to access it.
General desktop audio players and editors cannot normally open PH files directly because the format is specific to the MRS-802.
Use the MRS-802's playback and mixdown or export functions to create audio in a standard format, where supported, rather than converting the PH file directly.
