The pm! file extension is reported to be related to Pegasus Mail and used for one of its address book format. Might be just temporary, lock or backup file.
These files relate to Address Books created in Pegasus Mail.
The former indexes the information stored in the middle. For earlier versions of Pegasus Mail, if an address book is not going to be modified, it could be indexed in a faster way through the PMSORT utility that comes with the dos-zip file, which generates an additional file with the .pm1 file extension. (note this did not work for very large address books!). The filename can either be 8 digits or ADDR followed by 4 digits.
Use Pegasus Mail to work with *.pm! files.
Possibly data can be exported from *.pm! file.
