The ptk file extension is associated with Quicken, a personal finance management program originally developed by Intuit. Quicken was available for Microsoft Windows and Apple macOS, including through Quicken Essentials for Mac.
Some older versions of Quicken Online used ptk files to store financial data. The format is obsolete and is not the primary exchange format used by current Quicken products. More recent Quicken versions use the qif for exporting financial data.
Try opening the ptk file with the version of Quicken that created it. Current versions may not support this older Quicken Online format.
If Quicken does not recognize the file, it may require the original software environment or may no longer be directly usable.
If a compatible version of Quicken can open the file, use its export features to save the available financial data in QIF or another supported format.

The ptk file extension seems to also have been used for a Presentation Text Object Content Architecture format, by IBM.
The Presentation Text Object Content Architecture (PTOCA) is the data object used in document processing environments for representing text, which has been prepared for presentation.
Each file contains one or more pages of text and is always included as part of a document in a MODCA file. Each page may reference a PTOCA Overlay, which is merged with the text as a background.
Use compatible tools to work with *.ptk files.
Probably can be exported to other formats.
