QuadraComposer is an Amiga music editor for creating music with four sampled voices. Its module files contain the samples and pattern information needed to play the composition.
The format supports 256 patterns and is a new module format for QuadraComposer. It is an Amiga-specific music format rather than a conventional stand-alone audio format.
Amiga Forever provides an emulated Amiga environment on Microsoft Windows in which QuadraComposer files can be used.
On Microsoft Windows, open the .qc-emod file with Amiga Forever and use it with the QuadraComposer software in its emulated Amiga environment.
Ordinary Windows audio players generally cannot open this module format directly because it contains tracker-style patterns and samples rather than a standard rendered audio stream.
To create standard audio from a QuadraComposer .qc-emod module, play it with QuadraComposer in the emulated Amiga environment and record the playback using an available audio recording method. This produces a rendered recording and does not preserve the original patterns or samples as an editable module.
