File type: Various data file
A qrq file is a query definition used by Q&R Workstation.
It belongs to the Q&R Workstation reporting software and describes a query rather than storing the report results themselves.
File type category:
Various data file
Date updated: October 5, 2026
Record marked as obsolete and not updated for a long time.
Q&R Workstation was reporting software developed by CA for Microsoft Windows. A qrq file stores the definition of a query created in that application, allowing the software to save and reuse the query.
The qrq format is obsolete. Its contents are specific to Q&R Workstation and are not intended as a general-purpose data format.
Open the file with the original Q&R Workstation software on Microsoft Windows. Because the software and format are obsolete, a compatible legacy installation may be required.
If the file can still be opened in Q&R Workstation, use the query definition as a reference and recreate the query in another reporting application.
