Adobe Streamline was an Adobe Systems application that converted raster images into editable vector artwork. The software was used to trace scanned images, logos and other bitmap graphics.
The r2v3 file format stores data used by Adobe Streamline. It belongs to Streamline's own working-file system rather than to the vector formats commonly used for exchanging finished artwork.
Adobe Streamline was available for Microsoft Windows and classic Mac OS, but the product has been discontinued. The r2v3 format is therefore obsolete and is not generally supported by current graphics applications.
Open an r2v3 file with the original Adobe Streamline software on a compatible Windows or classic Mac OS system. Because Streamline is discontinued, it may be difficult to obtain or run on modern systems.
Adobe Illustrator and other graphics applications may open artwork exported by Streamline, but they should not be expected to open an r2v3 file directly.
There is no commonly available modern converter for the r2v3 file format. If the file can be opened in Adobe Streamline, export the resulting artwork to a supported vector format such as AI or EPS.
If Streamline cannot open the file, conversion generally requires recovering the original bitmap or vector artwork from another source.
