Radamant is ransomware that encrypts files on an infected Windows computer and demands payment in bitcoins for their recovery. The resulting .rdm file contains the encrypted contents of the original file.
When installed, Radamant copies itself to C:\Windows\directx.exe and creates autorun registry entries so that the infection starts each time the user logs in to Windows.
Emsisoft Decrypter for Radamant is a Microsoft Windows utility designed to decrypt files affected by Radamant. The .rdm extension is associated with this ransomware's affected files.
