SDTID

RSA soft-token
File type: Encoded and encrypted file
Files with sdtid file extension can be mostly found as some sort of tokens used by RSA SecurID. It is some sort of encrypted certificate.
What is sdtid file?
File type category:
Encoded and encrypted file

File extension sdtid seems to be primarily used for so called tokens in RSA SecurID program. These are used much like encrypted certificates (using ZIP compression and AES-128 encryption).
SecurID, now known as RSA SecurID, is a mechanism developed by Security Dynamics (later RSA Security and now RSA, The Security Division of EMC) for performing two-factor authentication for a user to a network resource.
The authentication mechanism consists of a "token" — either hardware (USB dongle) or software (a soft token) — which is assigned to a computer user and which generates an authentication code at fixed intervals (usually 60 seconds) using a built-in clock and the card's factory-encoded random key (known as the "seed").
The seed is different for each token, and is loaded into the corresponding RSA SecurID server (RSA Authentication Manager, formerly ACE/Server) as the tokens are purchased.
How to open sdtid file?
You should be able to import certificates to programs that support them.
How to convert sdtid file?
Security certificates cannot be typically converted to anything else. They are usually generated for single purpose.
