Files with tibx extension are backup files created with Acronis True Image 2020 and later. Contains whole chain of backup chain, meaning the original full backup and any additional incremental backups that depend on it.

File extension tibx is used for a new type of backup files introduced in Acronics True Image 2020. Both TIBX and the previous TIB files are still used in Acronis 2020/2021 albeit based on certain rules.
TIBX format is reserved for:
Old TIB backups will still remain as they are even if you install newer version of True Image, the TIBX format will only be used for new backups.
The main difference is that TIBX format is used for a full backup chain, which increases tre speed of backup and recovery.
Can be accessed and restored by Acronis True Image 2020 and later.
Most likely cannot be converted directly to other formats, but it might be possible to export some data out of these backups.
