MRMC uses the .tra file to represent a model's transition matrix. Depending on the model, the matrix contains transition rates or transition probabilities between states.
The file is a model-input file for MRMC's analysis of Markov chains and Markov reward models. It is used together with other MRMC input files when a model also requires state labels or reward information.
