.wpd3 files belong to Corel WordPerfect, the word-processing software developed by Corel Corporation. Corel WordPerfect is part of the Corel WordPerfect Office suite. These files were used for documents created with WordPerfect 3 for Mac.
A file can contain the document's text and formatting, allowing the original WordPerfect application to display and edit the content.
This is a legacy Macintosh format and is no longer commonly used. Corel WordPerfect for Microsoft Windows is the software associated with this record, but compatibility with such an old Mac document may depend on the version and available import filters.
Open the file with the original WordPerfect 3 for Mac software if it is available. On Windows, try opening it with Corel WordPerfect; support for this legacy Macintosh format may vary by version.
If Corel WordPerfect can open the file, use its Save As or export function to save a copy in a newer WordPerfect format or another supported document format.
If the file cannot be opened by an available WordPerfect version, there may be no reliable direct conversion method. In that case, open it with the original Mac software first and then export the document from there.
