Corel WordPerfect is a word processor developed by Corel Corporation and included in the Corel WordPerfect Office suite for Microsoft Windows. A wpk file stores a macro recorded or created for WordPerfect.
When loaded by WordPerfect, the macro performs a sequence of commands or other automated actions. This makes the file a script or automation file rather than a normal WordPerfect document.
The format is intended for use with the Microsoft Windows versions of Corel WordPerfect and Corel WordPerfect Office. Its contents are tied to WordPerfect's macro system rather than being a general-purpose script format.
On Microsoft Windows, use Corel WordPerfect to open or load a wpk file. Corel WordPerfect Office includes WordPerfect and its macro tools.
To preserve or modify a wpk file, open it in Corel WordPerfect and use the available macro options to save it. To use the macro in other software, its commands generally need to be recreated manually.
