The .wq! file extension is associated with Quattro Pro, a spreadsheet program developed by Borland and later sold to Corel. Corel distributed Quattro Pro primarily as part of its WordPerfect Office suite.
.wq! files contain compressed spreadsheets created in Corel Quattro Pro. They are spreadsheet and workbook files rather than ordinary text documents.
The format is intended for the Windows versions of Corel Quattro Pro and Corel WordPerfect. It is a legacy format, but the corresponding software may still open files created in it.
On Windows, open the .wq! file with Corel Quattro Pro. Quattro Pro is also available through Corel WordPerfect, which can open the file when it includes the Quattro Pro spreadsheet component.
Open the file in Corel Quattro Pro and use its Save As or export command to store the spreadsheet in another format supported by the installed version. Conversion depends on whether the software can read the particular file and may affect features that are specific to Quattro Pro.
