Web Research is a Windows application from Macropool for collecting and organizing web pages and other research material. The WRLK file extension identifies a link file created by that application.
A WRLK file contains a reference to a document in a Web Research collection. It is therefore associated with the application's archive and may not contain a complete copy of the referenced document itself.
WRLK is a proprietary format tied to Web Research and is not a general-purpose document format. It is intended for use on Microsoft Windows with the Web Research application.
Open a WRLK file on Microsoft Windows with Web Research. If the file refers to material in a Web Research collection, that collection and the referenced document may also need to be available.
If Web Research is not installed, a general-purpose document viewer is unlikely to interpret the file correctly.
A WRLK file is a link or reference, not a conventional document, so it normally has no useful direct conversion to another document format.
Open it in Web Research and use the application's available save or export commands on the referenced document if a standalone copy is needed.
