Microsoft SharePoint is Microsoft's server and web application platform for sharing information and documents. An xfp file contains properties data for a SharePoint Extending Form Library.
SharePoint form libraries are used in Microsoft SharePoint only for backward compatibility with XML-based forms editors that do not support publishing forms to content types. The xfp file is a supporting properties file rather than a standalone form or document.
The format is intended for use by SharePoint rather than for direct editing. It is associated with Microsoft SharePoint Server and Microsoft SharePoint Workspace on Microsoft Windows.
Use any text editor to open or view an xfp file as text. The file is a supporting SharePoint form library properties file and is normally used in its associated SharePoint context rather than as a standalone document.
There is no meaningful general-purpose conversion for an xfp file. It is a SharePoint form library properties file, not a document format intended for export.
To change the associated form library, use the relevant SharePoint configuration or library tools instead of converting the file with a file converter.
