XL-Paint was picture-editing software designed for the Atari 8-bit family of computers, introduced in 1979. Its XLP format stores bitmap picture images created with the program.
Use RECOIL, a multiplatform viewer for old computer graphics formats, to open and view an .xlp file.
No dedicated converter for .xlp files is known. If a compatible graphics program can open the format, it may also be able to save the image in a more common bitmap format.
