The zzz file extension is used by Micro Perfect products as a default data-file type. The software creates and reads these files as part of its sleep-mode operation.
Micro Perfect Corporation develops vertical business software for industries including hospitality, automotive, retail, salons, medical services, manufacturing and legal services. A zzz file therefore belongs to the supporting data used by one of these products rather than being a general-purpose document.
The file is intended to be handled by the associated Micro Perfect software. Its contents are operational data from sleep mode and are not normally useful as a standalone file.
The associated Micro Perfect product normally accesses the zzz file automatically, so it may not provide useful information when opened manually in a text or general-purpose file viewer.
There is no known general-purpose conversion for this type of zzz file. It stores internal sleep-mode data for Micro Perfect software rather than user-facing content intended for export.
If the information is needed in another form, use an export or reporting feature in the associated Micro Perfect product, if one is available. Converting the file directly is not recommended.

The zzz file extension is also known to be used for one of the 2015 variants o TeslaCrypt ransomware.
This malicious software encrypts and locks users data and renames the extension to one of the many options, including zzz.
TeslaCrypt also leaves instructions and ransom demands in a special text file "HELP_RESTORE_FILES.txt" file found in affected folders.
Tools like TeslaDecore may perhaps help you with unlocking your data even without paying the ransom.
There is no way how to convert affected the files, you first have to purge the virus from your system and then hope for some decoding tool to appear on internet.
