File type specification:
The gpb file extension is used for one of the Gerber formats. These Gerber formats are used by printed circuit board (PCB) industry software and contain images of a printed circuit board (copper layers, solder mask, legend, etc.) together with drilling and milling data.
The Gerber format is the de-facto industry standard for printed circuit board image transfer.
The gbp file contains only Bottom Paste Mask data, and can usually be generated from full PCB file by some CAE software.
