The gog file extension is associated with the digital distribution of video games known as GOG.com (previously known as Good Old Games) owned by CD Projekt.
The gog file contains disk image of video game downloaded from GOG, also can contain soundtrack. It is BIN image format only with renamed file extension.
CD / DVD binary image often requires a .cue file for proper work. In the case of .gog file search for .inst file (.inst=.cue).
