Google Video Player was discontinued in 2007 and is no longer distributed by Google.
The gvi video format is similar to DivX4 and audio is stored in MP3 format.
Use VLC media player to open and play *.gvi video files.
Some multimedia converters may still support this format, but for all we know GVI format is largely unsupported.
