KWord is an intuitive word processor and desktop publisher application. With it, you can create informative and attractive documents with pleasure and ease. KWord is designed to make including content in your documents (images, charts and shapes, for example) effortless. Resize and rotate your content and the text will wrap round it seamlessly – just as it should.

With a clean and responsive interface, be free to add, move and remove anything you like. Get rid of all those confusing buttons and toolbars other word processors force you to use, replace them with the new, “Format” panel, and even the children can create attractive documents without help!

No need to struggle to include that spreadsheet or chart you want to demonstrate to the office, or distribute it as a separate file – just embed it into the document like anything else. Even resize or rotate it as naturally as you would a picture!

KWord includes all the features you would expect from a modern word processor and more – styles, word count, page count, easy zooming and the comprehensive print preview to name a few.

It has been obsoleted by Calligra Words of the Calligra Suite.

The KWord software seems to be old or discontinued.
Such programs may not work on modern operating systems properly, are no longer available and supported by their original developers, or are simply obsolete for their purpose. Sometimes companies offer limited support through their website.
