The Quikscribe Recorder is currently the worlds most advanced PC based digital dictation software, with many advanced features, not found in any other product.
As you can see from the image on the left, a single dictation file can contain embedded images, text, documents etc to create a RICH dictation file. This unique audio file format is called an IAF (Intelligent Audio File)
As a result, no longer does an author need to reference other information, instead the author can now embed all required information into a single dictation file along with associated instructions.
From a typist perspective, everything required to complete a document or task is contained within a single file.
The end result being that both authors and typists can now be significantly more productive resulting in faster document turnaround.
Using either a Philips SpeechMike (Pro or Classic), an Olympus DS4000 or Philips DPM9400 you can Record in Insert or Overwrite mode, Stop, Play, Rewind, Fast Forward plus you can Insert Text Attachments, Screen Shots, instantly Undo / Redo unlimited dictation edits, while working seamlessly behind other Windows applications.
The Quikscribe Recorder software seems to be old or discontinued.
