The sat file extension is also used for bookmark backup files in Mozilla Firefox web browser. These files were used in older versions of the program.

Currently Firefox uses JSON format for bookmark files. Not supported in latest version of Firefox.

This sat file type entry was marked as obsolete and no longer supported file format.

This type of file is no longer actively used and is most likely obsolete.
