The snp file extension is mainly known to be used Microsoft Access, database management system from Microsoft Office Suite and used for one of the default file types.
The snp is a snapshot generated for reporting and previewing purpose, so even users without Microsoft Access can view and print it.
Basically, it's picture. To be more specific it is a cab file that contains .emf files for all pages to reproduce the content.
As such, it is not possible to edit anything, just view it like any picture using special viewer (SnapView for example).
SNP format is based on Microsoft Compound File Binary Format (CFBF), which is also forms the basis of the Advanced Authoring Format (AAF).
The function was removed in MS Access 2010 and from this version onward the program does no longer use this file type.
