Roxio DigitalMedia used .sonic files for saved CD and DVD burning projects. The project file preserves the disc compilation and related project settings rather than serving as the finished disc image itself.
DigitalMedia has been discontinued and was replaced by Roxio Creator. The format is associated with Roxio's Windows software and is no longer a current project format.
Open the file on Microsoft Windows with Roxio Creator NXT, if the installed version supports the older DigitalMedia project format. The original Roxio DigitalMedia software may be required when Creator cannot read the file.
Open the file in compatible Roxio software and use the project to burn the disc or recreate the compilation in a current Roxio Creator project.
