The syx file extension is also used by Yamaha devices for one of its FM-synthesis (MIDI) instruments sound format.
Used in DX11 / TX81z / DX7s / DX7II / DX200 / DX21 / DX27 / DX100 / DX7 devices.
Extension also used for dumps by some Roland devices, such as D-50 or MT-32.
This syx file type entry was marked as obsolete and no longer supported file format.
This type of file is no longer actively used and is most likely obsolete.
