WFD file extension - Exchange workflow process definition
What is wfd file? How to open wfd files?
File type specification:
The WFD file extension is associated with the Microsoft Exchange and used for its workflow process definition.
Workflow processes can be saved as a Workflow Process Definition (*.wfd), or as File System Format (*.wef). The first option, which is the default, is the native format that is saved to the Microsoft® Exchange 2000 Server folder or SharePoint Portal Server folder. The second option will save the workflow process, properties, and common script out in File System Format (meaning binary format). This will make it possible for copies of workflow to be distributed easily to users who do not have access to the same Exchange server.
