What is xmi file? How to open xmi files?
The xmi file extension is mainly related to a MIDI like audio format.
XMI format is a proprietary extension of the SMF format introduced by the Miles Sound System, a middleware driver library targeted at PC games. XMI is not an official MIDI standard.
Because XMI are very similar to MIDI format, the xmi file doesn't contain audio data, only composed music, which will be generated by sound card via FM synthesis or Wavetable synthesis.
