Files with cmdx extension can be occasionally encountered as old labels from the mac version of Design Pro (2005) software.
Found 2 different file type records with the same cmdx filename suffix.

File extension cmdx was in the past (around 2005) used in the mac version of Design Pro software from Avery.
Much like similar other formats from Avery, these files contain label designs.
Even the latest software from Avery should still be able to open/import these labels.
The labels will be saved to the modern .avery files when imported to the software. Othewise export to PDF is certainly possible.

The cmdx file extension is associated with the Clinical Map Document format stored in XML simple text file format, viewable in cMDX Editor.
