eDrawing files (.easm) cannot be converted to anything else, simply because they are used as previews and for printing - not for further editing. Somewhat similar to PDFs in their use, but used for CAD designs.

If you need the model exported to other 3D modeling / CAD format, for example ISO STEP product data (.stp, .step), you will need to obtain the original source from which the eDrawing file was exported in the first place. Otherwise easm to step conversion will be impossible to achieve.

Note: Some .easm files are exported with the option 'allow save' which apparently allow for some basic export to other formats, for example STL.

EASM

Files with easm extension can be found as exported Solidworks CAD files using the eDrawing software. Used for preview and sharing purposes.

STEP

Files with step extension are quite often found as 3D model / part files saved in STEP (Standard for the Exchange of Product Data) format.
