Compact Pro has been in distribution for more than 10 years. It was very popular in the early 1990s and was the first shareware program to win a MacUser "Eddy" award. In recent years, however, the need for this type of utility has declined and sales have declined accordingly.
At this point, support for MacOS X is a requirement for applications which claim to be "Macintosh compatible." Unfortunately, it would require a complete rewrite to update Compact Pro to work properly with MacOS X, and there is not enough user interest to justify that amount of development.
Registered Compact Pro users may obtain the last released version using the links below. Only registered users are authorized to download and use this software.
Compact Pro is available in English, French, German and Japanese language versions.
