File extension nco represents a ZIP compressed backup file created by Nero BackItUp application that contains data to be backed up to a CD or DVD.
Nero BackItUp was distributed as a part of NERO suite. However, it is now is distributed as stand alone backup utility.
Non-encrypted .nco files can be decompressed by any archiver capable of decompressing common zip files.
Open with Nero BackItUp and use restore command, you should get a default "Save as..." dialog box from which you can save the files with their normal extension and uncompressed.
A .nco file is just a .zip file under Nero's proprietary extension. Rename the extension and you will be able to open and extract the archive using any program that can open *.zip files.
