File extension skudef is used by several computer game from Command & Conquer franchise, including Red Alert, or Tiberium Wars.
For each game resource or mod archive (BIG format), there is also corresponding skudef file that contains data used by the engine to locate the archive.
These skudef files were used by SAGE engine to earlier versions of Command & Conquer Red Alert 3. Latest version of C&C Red Alert 3 and C&C 4 don't use *.skudef files.
You can probably view and open the .skudef files in any text editor, but altering the files may result of errors in the game.
These files are not meant to be converted to anything else, they just describe data package.
