Split multi-volume ALZip EGG compressed archive (part 7)
File type: Archive and compressed file
The .vol7.egg file is the seventh volume of a split, multi-volume EGG compressed archive created by ALZip. It contains one part of the archive data and is not normally complete on its own.
Keep this file with the other volumes in the set so ALZip can read the complete archive.

ALZip, developed by ESTsoft, uses EGG for compressed archives and can split an archive into numbered volumes. The .vol7.egg file extension identifies the seventh volume in that set. It belongs to an egg rather than representing an independent archive.
This file contains a portion of the compressed archive data. The other volumes are needed to reconstruct the archive and extract its contents, so deleting or renaming one of them can prevent the set from opening correctly.
ALZip is available for Microsoft Windows and Apple macOS (Mac OS X). The extension is associated with ALZip's split EGG archive workflow and is not a general-purpose standalone archive format.
Keep the .vol7.egg file in the same folder as every other volume in the archive set. Open the set's first volume with ALZip, rather than opening part 7 by itself; ALZip will use the remaining volumes when they are available.
ALZip can open this type of archive on Microsoft Windows and Apple macOS (Mac OS X). If the program reports a missing volume, check that all parts are present and retain their original filenames.
A .vol7.egg file cannot be meaningfully converted on its own because it is only one part of a split archive. Open the complete volume set with ALZip and extract the contained files first. The extracted files can then be placed in another archive format with an appropriate archiving program.
