Like by Earth 2150 will there be a editor named Earth 2160 World Creator. This one is compared to its predecessor massively extended, setting up detailed landscapes will be easier. Also will you be able to import own textures, as well as changing the color of already existing textures (already known from KnightShift), this creates for each map an individual note. The new engine will be able to handle several scenarios on only one map, means that now you can combine snow-covered mountains with a beach.

Own sounds can be imported for new SP missions. Cutscenes can be easily made with the integrated tools. Virtual cameras can be placed in the 3D space everywhere you like.
It won't be necessary anymore to run the game for using the editor because it is in its own application. This enables more comfortable handling and better performance. The editor's appearance adjusts to the Windows theme you use.
It won't be possible to import maps from Earth 2150. This is for technical reasons; the differences between the Earth 4 Engine and the Earth 2/Earth 3 Engine are too big.
