What is the best converter used for converting c4d format to blender file format.
Unfortunately direct export of Cinema4D content (3D models only, not animations) to Blender is not possible, because Cinema4D doesn't support export to Blender, neither does Blender allow import of .c4d files from Cinema4D. Which makes direct cinema4d to blender conversion unlikely.
The usual workaround for this is to export Cinema4D content to format accepted in Blender, for example OBJ or FBX,

Files with c4d extension can be most often encountered as 3D model files created with professional 3D modeling software tool CINEMA 4D from MAXON.
Files with the c4d file extension can also be found as object definition files from the Clonk game.
BLENDER
Blender open-source 3D computer graphics software tool uses .blend files and not .blender files actually. As far as we know, no such thing as .blender file exists.
