Although it may not be feasible to convert .jpg files to .sh3d files directly, it is still possible to work with JPEG assets in Sweet Home 3D, the tools from these projects come from.
This is most frequently used with the texture editor, which supports the import of numerous raster formats, including JPEG. The textures are saved in .sh3t files (texture libraries), but it can also accept house plans and backdrop photos.
