Files with k2p suffix can be typically found as files encrypted and renamed using the Kryptel program.

File extension k2p seems to related to Kryptel file encryption software and used for its default encrypted file type.
When a file is encrypted using the program, the original extension is renamed to k2p so it is more easily identified.
You have to decrypt these files using Kryptel programs. Attempts to simply rename the extension to the original will not be succesful.
A conversion of any kind for .k2p files is highly unlikely, you would have to decrypt the files first.
