Koala Painter was a graphics editing program for the Commodore 64, an 8-bit home computer. Images saved in its format use the gig file extension.
A gig file contains a 160x200-pixel picture with 16 colors. It is an obsolete format associated with Commodore 64 graphics software.
The format is no longer in common use, but the image can still be viewed with RECOIL on supported platforms.
