BI/Suite was business intelligence software developed by Hummingbird. Its hypercube files stored multidimensional data for analysis within the BI/Suite environment.
Hummingbird is now the OpenText Connectivity Solutions Group. The BI/Suite hypercube format is obsolete and is no longer generally used in current software.
Open the .hc file with the Hummingbird BI/Suite software that created it. A current general-purpose application is unlikely to recognise this format.
If BI/Suite is unavailable, obtain the original data source or a previously exported copy rather than renaming the file or opening it with unrelated software.
If an installation of BI/Suite can read the file, use its export facilities to save the data in a supported format.
Without compatible BI/Suite software, conversion is generally not practical; recovering the original source data may be the only reliable alternative.

The hc file extension is used by various source code editors for header files.
In computer programming, particularly in the C and C++ programming languages, a header file or include file is a file, usually in the form of source code, that is automatically included in another source file by the compiler.
Typically, header files are included via compiler directives at the beginning (or head) of the other source file.

Probably can be exported to other formats.
