HDRtist is a high dynamic range (HDR) photo editor for Apple Mac OS X and macOS. Its HDRP file is a project file that preserves an edited photograph and the settings used to produce the result.
The file can contain the edited image, applied effects, and adjustment information so the work can be reopened and modified in HDRtist. HDRP is intended for use with HDRtist rather than as a general-purpose image exchange format.
Open an HDRP file with HDRtist on Apple macOS or Mac OS X. Use the application's Open command and select the file.
Other graphics programs may not recognize the HDRP project format.
Open the HDRP file in HDRtist and export the resulting image in one of the standard image formats supported by that version of the application.
