File extension lqm is mainly known for its use for memo files saved in the QuickMemo app on LG smartphones that use Optimus UI interface for Android (also known as LG UX), such as G2, G3, G4, G5, G6, G Flex, G Flex2, L family, Optimus family, etc.
QuickMemo isn't officially available to download fo Android devices from other producers.
A typical lqm file represents memo saved in QuickMemo. It is essentially a ZIP archive, which contains the following:
- memoinfo.jlqm file that appears to be a JSON formatted text file that contains the actual note
- metadata.mtd file that contains additional metadata
- audios, videos, images folders that contain any attachments
- and finally the drawings folder that contains captured stylus input
How to open lqm file?
As far as we know, only the QuickMemo apps on LG smartphones can directly read .lqm files.
How to convert lqm file?
No LQM converter exists, but you can use several workarounds to recover the note, or any other attached parts (images, multimedia etc.) from the file.
