MPEG-2 transport stream file format was developed for terrestrial or satellite broadcasting, because it contains error corrections and stream synchronization features, that are useful for transmission integrity, even with bad signal.
The maximal resolution of the video is 1080i. Audio is stored in AC-3 Dolby Digital audio format or in Advanced Audio Coding (AAC) format.
Use VLC media player or Windows Media Player to play *.m2t files.
