Micro Illustrator was a graphics program for Atari's 8-bit computer family. Its mic files store bitmap pictures with a resolution of 160 x 240 pixels and four colors.
The mic file extension is also used for pictures created by AtariGraphics. Those images have a resolution of 160 x 192 pixels and use four colors.
This is an obsolete image format. RECOIL, a multiplatform retro-computer image viewer and converter, supports Micro Illustrator pictures.
Use the multiplatform RECOIL software to open a mic file. It can identify and display supported Micro Illustrator pictures.
