The TXM file extension was used by Tagsoft, an earlier product from CMSI Technologies. The file contains data for use within Tagsoft rather than serving as a general-purpose text or interchange file.
Tagsoft was most likely replaced by Tagmaster. As a legacy format, TXM files may be difficult to use if the original Tagsoft software is no longer available.
Open a TXM file with the original Tagsoft software on Microsoft Windows. Because the format is proprietary and Tagsoft is an earlier product, current Windows applications may not recognize it.
If Tagsoft is unavailable, retain a copy of the original file and contact the organization that created it for access to the appropriate legacy software.
If Tagsoft can open the file, use any export or save-as options provided by that application to create a format it supports.
Without Tagsoft or a compatible utility, ordinary text or data-conversion software may not be able to convert the file reliably.
