File type: Email related data file

File type category:
Email related data file
Date updated: September 30, 2026
Microsoft Entourage 2008 was developed by Microsoft for Mac OS X. It combined email, calendar, contact, task, and notes features, and this file extension identifies an event associated with its calendar functionality.
The file belongs to Entourage's event data rather than being a general-purpose document. It may be used as part of the information that Entourage stores and manages for a calendar event.
Microsoft Entourage 2008 and its associated file formats are discontinued. The format is therefore mainly encountered in older Entourage data on Apple Mac systems.
Open the file with Microsoft Entourage 2008 on Mac OS X. If the file was extracted from an Entourage data set, use it with the corresponding Entourage installation rather than treating it as a standalone document.
Microsoft Entourage 2008 was made for Apple Mac systems. Current versions of macOS may not run it, so an older compatible Mac or an existing Entourage installation may be required.
Open the event in Microsoft Entourage 2008 and use Entourage's available calendar export or sharing features to move the information to another calendar application.
If Entourage cannot read the file, conversion may require recovering the event from the original Entourage data set rather than converting the file directly.
