The VRGE08NOTE file extension identifies a proprietary Microsoft Entourage 2008 note file. It stores data for a note managed by Entourage, alongside the user's other email and personal information.
Microsoft Entourage was an email and personal information application for Apple macOS and Mac OS X, distributed as part of Microsoft Office for Mac. A VRGE08NOTE file is normally associated with an Entourage identity rather than used as a standalone document.
Entourage and its 2008 data format are legacy technology. Microsoft no longer develops Entourage, so newer email applications generally do not provide direct support for this file type.
Open the associated Entourage identity with Microsoft Entourage 2008 on Apple macOS or Mac OS X. The file may be an internal part of the identity data, so it should normally be accessed from within Entourage rather than opened directly.
Microsoft Office for Mac can open it when it includes the compatible Entourage application.
Open the note in Microsoft Entourage 2008 and copy or export its contents to a supported text or document format where possible.
If Entourage is unavailable, conversion may require restoring the original Entourage identity on a compatible Mac and exporting the note data from there.
