StarBoard is interactive whiteboard software developed by Hitachi Solutions for creating and presenting digital documents. The software runs on Microsoft Windows and is designed for use with StarBoard interactive whiteboards.
A .yar file is StarBoard's native document format. It can contain a multi-page StarBoard document, including written annotations and other content added during a presentation or lesson.
The file is intended to be opened and edited in StarBoard. It is not a general-purpose document format, so support outside the StarBoard software is limited.
Open the .yar file in StarBoard on Microsoft Windows. Use StarBoard's Open command and select the file, or associate the .yar extension with StarBoard.
Open the file in StarBoard and use its export or print functions to create a more portable document, such as a PDF, when those functions are available.
