PAQ8L is a variant of the PAQ data-compression format. A .paq8l file is an archive containing compressed files and folders.
PeaZip for Microsoft Windows can browse the archive and extract the files it contains.
On Microsoft Windows, open the .paq8l file with PeaZip. In PeaZip, open the archive to view its contents, then use the extract command to copy the files to a folder.
If Windows does not associate the file with PeaZip, start PeaZip and open the file from within the program.
A PAQ8L archive usually does not need direct conversion. To obtain the files in another archive format, extract the .paq8l archive with PeaZip, then create a new archive from the extracted files in a format supported by that program.
